Daniel & Lauren
It was a beautiful Friday evening in June for Daniel & Lauren's wedding celebrations. They got hitched in the daytime with a ceremony just for family and close friends and invited me along to take pictures of their evening party to celebrate them tying the knot.
They could not have picked a better evening for the weather, and their garden was decorated with a rustic theme. Considering they planned this with short notice, it was beautifully set up, and the selection of food prepared by Daniel's Brother was mouthwateringly good.
It's always a pleasure to witness the hugs and laughter of friends and family arriving. You could literally feel the love as each guest embraced the couple upon arrival.
Beers and Pimm's soon started flowing as everyone basked in the sunshine. Shots started to appear from the homemade bar, and you know it's going to be one hell of a party when you see the beer pong table being organised.
The highlight of my night was definitely being asked upstairs by the mother of the groom, and no, it's not what you think. She was showing me a good window to take the group shot from. However, we did get a few looks and laughs when she asked me. She was right though; the window was perfect, except I needed to pretty much hang out of it to get the shot, a risk I am always willing to take.
You can imagine how the rest of the night turned out. There was dancing, the conga, and Daniel making everyone do a fake laugh when they saw me coming. All in all, it was an amazing end to an amazing night.
As always, I wish Daniel and Lauren a lifetime of happiness, and I am truly grateful for being a part of your special day.
